Personnel from the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division (FNID) and Jamaica Customs Company on Monday made a serious weapons and ammunition discover at Kingston Wharves.
It’s reported {that a} whole of 66 weapons and over 4,500 rounds of ammunition have been found in two barrels.
The firearms embrace 50 handguns and 16 rifles.
The invention was reportedly made about 1:40 p.m. on the Kingston Logistics Centre at Newport West in St Andrew.
A Jamaican, who can also be an American citizen, who’s believed to be behind the cargo, was arrested on Wednesday throughout a managed supply operation.
