    48th staging of Gibson McCook Relays set for February 22

    KINGSTON, Jamaica– Over 2,500 athletes representing golf equipment and faculties in senior and junior occasions will compete on the Gibson McCook Relays this yr.

    The occasion was launched on the Jamaica Pegasus Lodge on Thursday afternoon, and organisers introduced that the meet will happen on Saturday, February 22, on the Nationwide Stadium.

    Beginning at 9:30 am, the meet will function 40 occasions, with 31 of these being relay races, 15 of these being championship races, and 9 particular person occasions. Athletes will compete for numerous golf equipment on the senior stage and faculties and secondary faculties on the junior stage.

    The meet runs till 9:00 pm, with the finals beginning at 4:00 pm.

    “I’m able to witness what our athletes may have for us on February 22,” organising committee vice-chairman Errol Greene stated. “The Gibson McCook relays proceed to garner curiosity from worldwide athletes who recognise and use this occasion as a measuring software to find out the readiness of their groups for different competitions, and we sit up for welcoming them to the occasion.”
