Saint John’s [Antigua and Barbuda], February 6 (ANI): West Indies will start their World Check Championship 2025-27 cycle with three house Checks towards Australia.
Cricket West Indies (CWI) revealed an action-packed schedule for the senior males’s and ladies’s groups from Might to December 2025, that includes a mixture of house and away fixtures.
Earlier than taking part in their first house Check, the West Indies will tour the UK from Might 21 to June 15. The West Indies will play three ODIs and three T20Is every towards Eire and England.
The three house sequence towards Australia, which can run from June 25 to July 16, shall be Daren Sammy’s first Check project as West Indies head coach since taking up from red-ball coach Andre Coley.
The primary Check will start on June 25 at Kensington Oval, Barbados, and the second sport shall be hosted on the Grenada Nationwide Stadium on July 3. The ultimate Check of the sequence will start on July 12 at Sabina Park, Jamaica.
After the conclusion of the Check sequence, the motion will shift to white-ball cricket, with the West Indies squaring off towards Australia in 5 T20Is from July 20 to July 28.
The Caribbean aspect will finish the house summer time with three T20Is and three ODIs towards Pakistan from July 31 to August 12. Florida’s Broward County will host the three T20Is, and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad would be the house for the three ODIs.
After the conclusion of the white-ball sequence at house, the West Indies will journey to India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand from September 21 to December 23. The Caribbean aspect will play two Checks towards India, three T20Is and ODIs towards Bangladesh, and an all-format tour of New Zealand, consisting of 5 T20Is, three ODIs, and three Checks.
The ladies’s workforce will start their 2025 marketing campaign with the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers in Pakistan from April 4 to 19. Within the event, six groups will compete for 2 spots within the marquee occasion in India, scheduled for August-September.
After the qualifiers, the ladies’s workforce will tour England for a full white-ball sequence consisting of three T20Is and three ODIs from Might 21 to June 8.
Later in 2025, the ladies’s workforce will host South Africa for a historic white-ball sequence on the 3Ws Oval in Barbados, marking the primary time the venue will stage such a world sequence. (ANI)
