Samuel Moore from Linstead in St Catherine, the person accused of chopping his mom’s associate to dying with a machete, was once more remanded within the St Catherine Parish Courtroom on Tuesday.
When the matter was talked about earlier than Senior Parish Courtroom Decide, Desiree Alleyne, Moore was ordered remanded till March 25.
The allegations are that about 7:15 p.m. on September 15, 2024, fifty-five-year-old labourer Vinton Anderson, who had an intimate relationship with Moore’s mom, was attacked by the accused with a machete.
He allegedly used the machete to inflict wounds to Anderson’s head and Anderson fell.
Whereas he was on the bottom the accused reportedly chopped him repeatedly on the higher physique and escaped from the scene.
Anderson was taken to the Linstead Hospital the place he was pronounced lifeless.
A probe was launched by the Linstead Prison Investigations Department, which resulted in Moore being arrested and charged with Anderson’s homicide.
