Manchester, Jamaica – A 40-year-old lady from Manchester has been charged after making an attempt to smuggle contraband hidden in slices of bread into the Christiana Police Lock-up throughout a go to to her son.
Monique Palmer, a resident of Ballynure district, was charged with introducing contraband to a police lock-up following the incident on Sunday, February 18.
In line with police experiences, round 1:15 p.m., through the designated prisoner visiting hours, Palmer offered a number of gadgets for her son, who’s at the moment in custody.
Upon conducting a routine search, officers found ganja, tobacco leaves, and an earphone hid inside slices of bread. She was instantly arrested and later charged.
Palmer stays in police custody as authorities finalize her courtroom date.
