The St Catherine police have efficiently captured a person who was listed as needed for a 2021 homicide dedicated in Duncan’s Pen Street, Spanish City throughout a site visitors cease in Kitson City on Sunday.
In custody is 47-year-old Gregory Ferguson, in any other case known as ‘Ruff,’ a resident of Duncan’s Pen Street.
The police reported that an unlawful gun was seized.
It’s reported that about 12:40 p.m. cops assigned to the St Catherine North Proactive Investigation Unit have been on patrol in Kitson City when upon reaching Cherry Lane they noticed a Nissan Tiida motor automotive whose driver’s behaviour raised suspicion.
The car was intercepted and searched and a Smith and Wesson nine-millimetre pistol affixed with {a magazine} containing six rounds of nine-millimetre cartridges was reportedly discovered.
Additional checks revealed that Ferguson was needed.
He was subsequently taken into custody and is anticipated to be questioned.
The police say Ferguson was being hunted for the homicide of 22-year-old Cody McLaughlin of Duncan’s Pen Street, Spanish City, St Catherine, on Sunday, March 7, 2021.
Reviews from the Spanish City police are that about 9:30 a.m., Ferguson and McLaughlin had an argument at a soccer subject in his neighborhood.
It’s alleged that someday after, Ferguson and different males reportedly went to McLaughlin’s home, the place the argument escalated and McLaughlin was subsequently shot a number of instances.
He was transported to hospital, the place he was pronounced lifeless.
