Tens of millions have gone uncollected as Jamaicans have didn’t entry free cash given to residents underneath the Authorities’s tax credit score programme.

At the moment, the Tax Administration of Jamaica reported that over 4,000 beneficiaries, every assured $20,000, haven’t gone to remittance companies to gather their funds.

Beneficiaries are reminded that they need to current a legitimate government-issued identification and the transaction quantity despatched to them by way of textual content or e mail after they have been notified of the disbursement’s availability.

The tax authority says these people have till Friday, March 7 to gather the cash or lose it, because the funds will return to the federal government.
