An investigation has been launched by the Police Excessive Command into the circumstances which led to a trainee constable reportedly by chance shot himself on the Glengoffe Police Station in St Catherine.
The injured trainee stays on the Spanish City Hospital for therapy.
It’s reported that round 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, the trainee positioned his firearm on prime of a motor automotive and proceeded to regulate his belt.
Whereas retrieving the gun, it reportedly fell to the bottom and discharged, placing him.
He was assisted to hospital, the place he stays admitted.
