    All-Jamaica Bowl set for JC

    KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica is ready to host the first-ever All Jamaica Gridiron Bowl which might be held at Ashenheim Stadium, Jamaica School on Saturday, showcasing the nation’s high gridiron soccer expertise in entrance of NCAA coaches and worldwide skilled recruiters.

    The occasion might be staged by the Nationwide Sort out Soccer Affiliation (NTFA) and is described as “A Sport-Altering Initiative for Athletes, Financial system & Tourism,” in line with a launch.

    Jerome Harriott, NTFA founder was quoted within the launch as saying, “Jamaica has dominated monitor and area, now we’re conquering gridiron soccer. The NTFA will create jobs, scholarships, and international alternatives for our youth whereas placing Jamaica on the gridiron map.”

    The initiative that began on Tuesday with full contact coaching session at UWI Mona Bowl, Kingston and had a full contact analysis session at Brooks Park, Mandeville on Thursday, will see the sport set to start out at 5:30pm after Friday’s Workforce Blue and Gray draft at Jamaica School auditorium.

    The All-Jamaica Gridiron Bowl in line with the organisers, will “Create Gridiron Soccer Pathways: Develop athletes for the NFL-IPP, Canadian Soccer League, and NCAA scholarships-opening doorways to US$25,000–US$500,000+ annual earnings; enhance sports activities tourism: Goal 10,000–15,000 guests yearly by soccer occasions, combining sport with Jamaica’s vibrant tradition” in addition to “empower youth: provide scholarships, monetary literacy packages, and NIL (Title, Picture, Likeness) alternatives for Jamaican student-athletes.”
