St. Catherine, Jamaica – A firearm was seized, and a person taken into custody following a focused police operation in St. Catherine on Sunday.
In line with a police report, regulation enforcement officers carried out a snap raid at roughly 1:15 p.m., throughout which they searched a location and found a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol.
The weapon was seized, and the person was detained in reference to the discover.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to find out the origin of the firearm and whether or not the suspect is linked to any prison actions.
