Glendon ‘Bull’ Amos, who’s at the moment in custody on a homicide cost, will now face further prices associated to the seizure of firearms and a big amount of ammunition.
On Wednesday, Amos was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
In line with the police, the costs stem from a duffel bag he reportedly deserted whereas fleeing from legislation enforcement within the Commodore district, Linstead, St Catherine, in 2022.
Studies are that at roughly 12:10 p.m. on Might 13, Amos, a mason, was seen close to the Commodore Primary College carrying a duffel bag.
Allegedly, the safety forces ordered him to cease, however he ran and was pursued.
In the course of the chase, he dropped the bag and escaped into close by bushes.
Upon retrieving the duffel bag, police found:
* A Colt M16 rifle with two magazines containing 17 rounds of 5.56-calibre ammunition
* A Taurus semi-automatic pistol with two magazines
* A Maverick 12-gauge shotgun with 5 rounds of 12-gauge cartridges
* A Sarsilmaz B6 pistol with 44 rounds of 9mm cartridges
* A further 28 rounds of .40 calibre ammunition
* A cap marked “Jamaica Constabulary Pressure”
Following an in depth investigation, Amos was captured in Moneague, St Ann, on January 29, 2025.
On Wednesday, February 12, he was recognized throughout an identification parade and subsequently charged.
