Girl, 13, killed in Prescot house fire as seven others escape

A 13-year-old woman has been killed in a home fireplace which broke out late on Wednesday, police have stated.

Merseyside Police and Merseyside Fireplace and Rescue Service stated the hearth at a property in Kingsway, Prescot, was lastly put out at 00:30 BST.

A person, lady and 5 youngsters have been capable of escape from the property unhurt.
