FLORIDA, United States — Veteran singer Ken Boothe is ready to carry out on the twelfth annual Rhythms of Africa occasion in Miramar Florida.
The Metropolis of Miramar, in collaboration with Embrace Music Basis, lately introduced the return of the occasion which can happen on April 26 to 27 on the Miramar Cultural Middle.
Described as a dynamic cultural occasion by promoters, it will likely be hosted by Mayor Wayne Messam and can showcase the skills of native youth alongside internationally acclaimed musicians.
Below the management of Willie Stewart, former drummer of Third World, college students from Somerset Academy Excessive Faculty will carry out following 40 hours of coaching in African drumming and percussion.
Becoming a member of them will likely be legendary reggae icon Boothe, violinist Demola, performers Jiggy Jack & Jacky Ambroise (previously generally known as Strings), and the Rhythms of Africa Band.
Stewart, emphasised the occasion’s deeper impression stating, “Music modifications lives. These younger performers have poured their hearts into this journey, exhibiting us all how rhythm and dedication can unite communities throughout generations.”
