    Man Charged in 2018 Murder of Assistant Coach in Kingston

    KINGSTON, JAMAICA — Practically seven years after the deadly taking pictures of assistant coach Oral “Ruff” Francis, the Kingston Western police have made a breakthrough, charging a suspect in reference to the crime.

    Twenty-nine-year-old Shevaughn Alexander Carnegie, also referred to as “Demon” and “Negie,” of Drecketts Place in Tivoli Gardens, has been charged with homicide, possession of a prohibited weapon, and unauthorised possession of ammunition.

    Francis, a resident of Arnett Gardens, was gunned down on Could 18, 2018, as he stood on the gate of his dwelling. Studies point out that round 8:00 a.m., a person approached him, opened hearth, after which fled the scene on foot. Francis sustained gunshot wounds to the higher physique and was pronounced useless on the Kingston Public Hospital.
