The Unbiased Fee of Investigations is probing loss of life of a person who was fatally shot by police in Spanish City, St Catherine after he allegedly tried to disarm a policeman on Thursday night time.

About 7:15 p.m. the police reportedly performed a snap raid in the hunt for a suspect within the homicide of a person on Wednesday.

The police say a person becoming the outline of the homicide suspect was noticed within the neighborhood of a bar and the police superior on him.

Upon seen the police, he reportedly went by a gate and right into a home alongside Oxford Street with the police in pursuit.

After coming into a room in the home, the police reportedly knowledgeable him why they have been there, however the man grabbed on to one of many policemen’s gun and a tussle developed.

He reportedly hit the policeman throughout the tussle and was shot and injured by one other member of the police group.

The person, whose id has not been disclosed, was taken to the Spanish City Hospital the place he succumbed to his accidents.
