A 40-year-old man was shot and killed at a bar in Browns Corridor, St. Catherine, on Monday.
The deceased has been recognized as Dowayne Martin of Williams Gully.
Reviews are that about 9:45 p.m., Martin was at a bar close to a neighborhood college when two males approached him, brandished firearms, and opened hearth hitting him a number of occasions. He was transported to the Spanish City Hospital, the place he was pronounced lifeless.
The motive behind the assault stays unknown. The Spanish City Prison Investigation Department is actively investigating the incident.
