Some workers confirmed up for work on Monday wearing black to register their protest, in line with Paul Stewart, president of the NCB Workers Affiliation, which represents almost 2,000 staff.

He stated the choice to put on black was taken throughout a gathering on the weekend when some workers had been “considerably restive”.
