CINCINNATI, OH – An Ohio instructor, Emily Nutley, who pleaded responsible to sexual battery involving an underage scholar, has accused her estranged husband of “excessive cruelty” amidst their ongoing divorce proceedings.
Nutley entered a responsible plea on Monday to 2 counts of sexual battery, admitting to a sexual relationship with a scholar at St. Xavier Excessive Faculty in Cincinnati. This plea comes throughout a tumultuous divorce from her husband, Jonathan Nutley, who filed for divorce in November 2024, shortly after her indictment.
In line with authorized paperwork obtained by TMZ, Emily Nutley, in her response to the divorce submitting, alleges that her husband was “responsible of gross neglect of obligation and excessive cruelty.”
The timing of her allegations has raised eyebrows, with some speculating that she could also be making an attempt to attribute her prison habits to a troubled marriage. Prosecutors allege that Nutley, who supervised a program helping struggling college students, engaged in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old scholar assigned to this system in 2023.
Authorities accuse Nutley of performing oral intercourse on the scholar, partaking in sexual activity with him in her faculty workplace, and sending him nude images and sexually specific messages. She can be accused of continuous to contact the scholar after he tried to finish the connection.
Nutley is at the moment awaiting sentencing for the sexual battery expenses, whereas her divorce proceedings proceed via the courts.
