A number of police in St Ann are mourning as one among their colleagues died this morning when she allegedly took her personal life.
Constable Alsiania Flynch of St Ann allegedly shot herself within the head.
Reviews are that she visited the workplace of the Firearm Licensing Authority together with her gun.
Upon returning to Hand to Mouth Road within the Alternate district of the parish, she turned the weapon on herself.
She was rushed to the St Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital, the place she succumbed to her accidents.
The incident is being investigated.
