Clarendon, Jamaica – A selector is amongst two males charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition following a police operation in Toll Gate, Clarendon, on Monday, January 27.
The accused have been recognized as 22-year-old Javone Brown, also called ‘Pitbull’, of Willow Shut, Portmore Pines, St. Catherine, and 33-year-old Ricardo McKenzie, a selector from Toll Gate, Clarendon.
In response to stories from the Might Pen police, round 3:45 p.m., lawmen performing on intelligence executed a search warrant at a home occupied by Brown and McKenzie. Throughout the search, officers found a .38 Taurus pistol with 5 dwell rounds hidden inside a wardrobe in McKenzie’s bed room.
Each males had been arrested on the scene and brought into custody.
