SPANISH TOWN, St. Catherine – Ricardo Alexander Powell, often known as “Kogie,” of Belmore Lane, Spanish City, was fatally shot throughout an alleged confrontation with police in Spanish City on Thursday.
The incident occurred at roughly 5:30 a.m. Police personnel, appearing on a search warrant, entered a home on Belmore Lane and reportedly encountered Powell, who was allegedly armed with a handgun.
