Spanish City, St Catherine — A 24-year-old mom from Spanish City has been charged with cruelty to a baby after her four-year-old daughter sustained burns in a disturbing incident over the weekend.
In accordance with studies, the incident occurred on Sunday, April 6, when the lady was allegedly beating the kid with a broomstick. In the course of the beating, the kid reportedly fell right into a lit coal range, leading to burns to her again.
The kid was taken for medical therapy, and the matter was reported to the Spanish City police. Following an investigation, the mom was arrested and subsequently charged on Monday, April 7.
She is scheduled to seem within the St Catherine Parish Courtroom on Friday, April 11.
