Kingston, Jamaica – Police have made an arrest within the investigation of the tragic homicide of 14-year-old Worth Johnson final week.
The suspect was apprehended on Sunday at roughly 3:50 pm at a Crescent Street tackle in St. Andrew, in line with the Hunts Bay Legal Investigation Department (CIB).
Johnson, a pupil at Haile Selassie Excessive Faculty, was sexually assaulted and murdered in her Palm Grove Courtroom house on Spanish City Street on Thursday night. The brutal crime has shocked the group and sparked widespread grief.
The CIB has said that the investigation is ongoing and that they’re actively pursuing leads. Additional updates can be launched because the probe progresses.
