A mechanic who was discovered allegedly dismantling a stolen automobile in Kitson City, St Catherine was on Thursday charged with larceny by the police.
He’s 28-year-old mechanic Anthoney King of Hemmings Manner, Kingston 20.
The police report that round 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, a group was on patrol within the Fletchers district of Kitson City once they allegedly noticed King eradicating elements from a 2015 Toyota Harrier.
The automobile had been reported stolen two days earlier from Sunset Crescent in St Andrew.
King was accosted and questioned however reportedly failed to offer an account of how he got here into possession of the automobile.
He was arrested on suspicion of larceny of a motorcar and subsequently charged on February 20 following a question-and-answer session.
