DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CMC) — The West Indies Girls will start their bid to qualify for the 2025 Girls’s Cricket World Cup after they tackle Scotland of their opening match of qualifiers in Pakistan subsequent month.
The schedule for the round-robin match, which can be performed in Lahore from April 9-19, was launched on Friday by the Worldwide Cricket Council (ICC).
The West Indies, together with Pakistan, Bangladesh, Eire, Thailand, and Scotland, will vie for the ultimate two spots within the Girls’s Cricket World Cup in India, scheduled to be performed in October and November this yr.
West Indies Girls will characteristic in a double-header on April 9, with Pakistan additionally set to tackle Eire.
The Hayley Matthews-led outfit will play Eire of their second match (April 11) earlier than taking up Pakistan in an important match on April 14.
