A St James lady has been charged with wounding with intent in relation to an incident alongside Barnett Avenue on February 13.

Reviews from the Barnett Avenue police are that about 12:30 p.m., a girl was strolling alongside the roadway when she was approached by 21-year-old Tamika Jones, in any other case referred to as ‘Nin’ of Gutters. A bodily altercation developed between them throughout which Jones used a knife to stab the lady to her again. Lawmen, who have been within the neighborhood, noticed what transpired and intervened. Jones was disarmed and brought into custody. The lady was assisted to hospital the place she was handled and launched.
Jones was charged whereas in custody after a complainant assertion was recorded. A court docket date is being finalised for her.
